Renaissance Theatre receives a $5,000.00 grant from The Greater Lynchburg Community Foundation
On behalf of the board members, volunteers, actors, stage managers, prop masters, costumers, and the guy who turns off the lights at the end of the show; Renaissance Theatre says a huge THANK YOU to The Greater Lynchburg Community Foundation for awarding us a $5,000.00 grant!
We are thrilled to be partnered for the first time with The Greater Lynchburg Community Foundation and appreciate the confidence they have in our ability to be good stewards of these funds which will be used towards purchasing technical, audio and lighting equipment that our community theater needs to continue producing the top-notch productions for which we are known!

Join us for Revenge of the Fairy Queen Starting June 9
For our June youth/adult production this year, Renaissance is proud to present the premier of local playwright Dwayne Yancey’s Revenge of The Fairy Queen! In this imaginative and hilarious unauthorized sequel to Shakespeare’s Midsummer Night’s Dream, Titania realizes that Oberon has duped her into falling in love with a mortal transformed into an ass. Furious, she plots revenge to be carried out on Midwinter’s Day. However, her plot goes awry in a very big way as complications and adventures ensue.

New Flex Ticket Option for 2023!
Buy four $20 tickets, get 1 free ticket for a total of 5 Flex Tickets! Flex Tickets are available online and can be used for any Renaissance Theatre production during the 2023 Season at the Miller Center in Lynchburg, VA. You may use all 5 tickets for one show, 1 ticket for each of the 5 shows, or 3 for one show, 2 tickets for another show, etc.
To purchase Flex Tickets, you must create a free account at www.Renaissance.Booktix.com or use your current Booktix account. Once you have purchased the Flex Tickets, you may reserve seats for any of the 5 productions during 2023. You will need to remember your login and password so you can access your account to reserve seats for future shows.
You MUST reserve seats online before 6 pm on the night of the show you want to attend (1pm for the matinee). If you have not reserved your seat(s) in advance, we cannot guarantee there will be seats available. If you come to a show without a reservation, you will need to provide your account information to the Box Office so they can access your Flex Tickets.
Tickets will be held at the box office for each show. If you have any questions, you may call the box office at 434-845-4427. Renaissance Theatre is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) organization, so please be patient if we do not answer – just leave a message and we will get back to you as soon as possible!

Friday and Saturday shows begin at 8:00 pm.
Sunday matinees are at 3:00 pm.
